Wix Enter is back for its 5th
/* About the program
This isn't an internship program where you watch from the sidelines. The Wix Grow program trains the next generation of xEngineers, engineers who own the full stack, from backend to frontend to mobile, mastering the fundamentals while building experiences that reach more than 300 million users worldwide.

/* xengineer
What is an xEngineer?
The xEngineer represents Wix’s vision for the future of development. As AI writes more and more code, the focus of our engineering fundamentals is shifting to areas requiring human judgment, creativity, systems and software design. This is more than adopting new tools - it’s a mindset shift.
The xEngineer model enables fewer handoffs, clearer ownership, and more autonomous teams - all while preserving deep expertise, collaboration, and high engineering standards.
Design-First: Understanding the “what” and “why” before the “how”.

End-to-End Ownership: Taking responsibility for complete systems from design to production, and owning the outcomes.

AI-Native: AI is an integral part of every workflow, not just an assistant.

Critical Thinking: Questioning AI outputs and understanding the underlying behavior of the code.

Simona
"At Wix, I got to learn best practices from talented developers, UX designers, product managers and other disciplines — all in an environment where it felt safe to ask, experiment, and grow. The best part was knowing that what I built actually reached real users."

Laurynas
“What amazes me most at Wix is how genuinely welcoming everyone is - I've never felt excluded or treated as 'other' for being an intern or having less experience. Balancing my studies with work was also a non-issue - my team was happy to give me the flexibility I needed. Talking with people who are years or even decades into their careers has broadened my ways of thinking, sharpened my programming and design skills, and helped me grow both professionally and personally. Plus, I get to build things that are used by millions of people worldwide, so that's pretty cool :)”

Akvile
״Internship at Wix was really fulfilling for me. Not only did I improve as a programmer, but I also had space to express my own ideas and even contribute to product design. The experience of releasing features to a large user base felt a bit daunting at first, but I had a very welcoming and supportive team to back me every step of the way.״

Kyryl Lebedenko
When I joined Wix as an intern, I was still a relatively inexperienced developer. During my internship, I grew tremendously by working on real products and learning from experienced engineers. Releasing my first code to production was nerve-racking, but it was also the moment I realized that my work could have a real impact on users.
What I appreciate most about Wix is the trust and freedom I was given in how to solve problems. I could take on challenging tasks, share my ideas, and I was fascinated by how my work could directly affect real users. Wix helped me grow not only as a developer, but also in confidence and ownership.

Kamile Evelina Randall
When friends found out that I was accepted as an intern at Wix Grow, they said: "Wow, you got straight to the best!" When I started, I was very weak in programming, but during the internship, I grew incredibly much. Later I started working on the product and when I had to release my first code to production, even my hands were shaking! I feel the meaning of work here, because Wix actually cares about users. After all, their lives also change after creating a website on this platform. And by programming, I can contribute to the fulfilment of those needs with the help of Wix.

Kristoferis Solovjov
Even if I shared something with my colleagues because I was more interested in the topic, I didn't feel ignored because I was just an intern. Equality in Wix teams creates a very good atmosphere. I would recommend joining Wix to anyone who knows how to communicate and has a strong motivation to program well.

In memory of Eytam Magini
Eytam grew up in Kfar-Saba. He served in the IDF as part of the Navy (Shayetet 7) and started studying for a triple major in psychology, neuroscience, and computer science at Tel-Aviv University. During his studies, Eytam joined Wix Enter and then became a Frontend Developer for our Media team.
Tragically, his time with us was cut short. Eytam was murdered in a violent terror attack in the heart of Tel Aviv on April 7, 2022.
His manager, Oded Nachshon, and his teammates describe Eytam as an incredible person. He was quiet, charismatic, and a true team player. They say he was the salt of the earth, a great friend with a kind soul.
The Wix Enter program is dedicated to Eytam in his honor.
